A construction worker has died after an undisclosed incident at Penare Farm, Higher Fraddon.
The man, aged in his early-30s, has not yet been named, and was employed on the site of a new biogas plant. The £4 million plant will convert animal waste into energy.
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have announced a joint investigation is being undertaken in partnership with Devon and Cornwall Police. The owners of Penare Farm have confirmed the death, but have stated they are not in a position to comment.
