Plans worth £1 billion that could possibly double the size of MediaCityUK have been submitted to Salford City Council and are to be considered in September.
Outline approval for these plans were granted in 2006 under the condition that the submission of detailed proposals, including building designs and specifications, was done by this year.
The proposals look to provide 50,000 square meters of office space, 1800 apartments as well as retail, leisure and public space.
