Draft Building Safety Bill published

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has published the long-awaited Draft Building Safety Bill. The aim of the Bill is to improve building and fire safety, using the lessons learned from the tragic Grenfell Tower fire.
Although the Bill is currently only a draft, it is a significant step in ensuring building and fire safety is improved so that residents can be, and can feel, safe in their own homes.
