Why not join the Cedrec Cycle Challenge Ride on Friday 13 September. Its a great networking opportunity open to IEMA members and professionals from other associated businesses and organisations from all sectors.
Route one - Round trip 53 miles*
Round trip starting from Cedrec HQ in Birtley to Parkhead Station Cafe above Stanhope where we'll stop for lunch.
Route two - 24.3 miles*
We'll transport you and your bike to join route one participants at Parkhead Station Cafe for the (mostly) downhill journey back to Birtley.
09:00 Meet at Cedrec HQ, DH3 2TB
09:30 Ride starts
12:30 Arrive at Parkhead Station Cafe for lunch
13:30 Return ride restarts & Route two ride starts
*The majority of both routes are on dedicated cycle only paths and are unsuitable for road bikes
The cost is just £10 and covers all your transport and lunch at the cafe for both rides.
To reserve your place please just book online and we'll send you a couple of forms that we need you to complete and return before you embark on your ride.
For those who need it - Bike hire is available from Cycle Hub in Newcastle, where we'll take you to collect your bike on the day of the ride - please call 0191 2767250 to arrange hire prior to the event.
