IEMA Transition to ISO 14001:2015, Legal Compliance and Sustainable Highways

The new ISO 14001 standard introduces new or enhanced requirements, increasing the degree to which legal compliance is managed and assessed. Cedrec’s Senior EHS Consultant, Richard Clarke, will walk you through how these requirements are addressed in the new standard, what the new requirements are, and explore what actions you can take to demonstrate compliance.

Highways England’s National Senior Advisor on Sustainable Development and Climate Change, Colin Holm, will explore how sustainable development can be delivered on the Strategic Road Network and the environmental requirements of their diverse supply chain.

SHE Advisor to A-one+, Adele Wiseman, will demonstrate how they’re meeting their client’s (Highways England) and parent companies’ environmental requirements (including CH2M, Costain and Colas). Tim Haskell, Environmental Manager will give you an insight into the landscape and ecology management of the highways.
