Climate Reality: the climate is changing, what does it mean for business?


The presentation will provide a global perspective of the impacts of climate change and what we can do to support a shift to a lower carbon future.

During the event, session leader Anna-Lisa Mills will be introducing attendees to the Climate Reality Project. This Project is a diverse group of passionate individuals who have come together to talk about and take action on the greatest challenge of our time.

This free event, supported through True North Sustainability, IEMA (The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment) North East Regional Steering Group and Cedrec, will focus on the issue of climate change and the risks and opportunities it brings to businesses.

About the Climate Reality Project

The Climate Reality Project was founded in 2006 by former US Vice President Al Gore. Mr Gore brought the attention of the world to climate change with his Academy Award-winning film, An Inconvenient Truth.

About Anna-Lisa

Anna-Lisa Mills is a Full Member of IEMA and Chartered Environmentalist, who has worked in sustainability and the environment within businesses for over 15 years. In 2015, she became a trained Climate Reality Leader in New Dehli, India under the personal tutelage of Al Gore.
