Electricity Regulation Act 1999 (Electricity) Levy Order SI 667/2021
This Order came into operation on 31 December 2021 and applies to Ireland only.
It imposes a levy on certain specified classes of electricity undertakings, for the purpose of meeting expenses properly incurred by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities in the discharge of its functions under the Electricity Regulation Act 1999.
The amount of the levy imposed on a relevant undertaking in respect of any quarter is as follows, in the case of the:
- transmission system operator, a fixed payment of €425,038;
- transmission system owner, a fixed payment of €425,038;
