Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Mines) Regulations SI 133/2018
The Regulations protect the safety, health and wellbeing of people working at mines by placing a duty on the mine operator to manage and control the hazards at mines arising from various activities.
They set out general health and safety management duties as well as inspection and supervision of work at mines. They also describe detailed requirements that must be met for any mine for underground and above the ground work, which include:
