Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) SR 2016/146
These Regulations came into force on 1 August 2016 and apply to Northern Ireland only.
They aim to protect people from the health and safety risks of construction by establishing a framework for managing those risks.
In doing so, they revoke and replace, with modifications, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) SR 2007/291, as well as implement the requirements of Directive 92/57/EEC, on the minimum health and safety requirements at temporary or mobile construction sites.
