These Regulations came into force on 7 March 2015 and apply to England, Scotland and Wales.

They also apply to Northern Ireland, in relation to import and export.

They replace and consolidate the Ozone-Depleting Substances (Qualifications) Regulations SI 2009/216 and the Environmental Protection (Controls on Ozone-Depleting Substances) Regulations SI 2011/1543, and provide for the execution and enforcement of Regulation (EC) 1005/2009, on substances that deplete the ozone layer.
