Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Heritage Partnership Agreements) Regulations SI 2014/550
These Regulations came into force on 6 April 2014 and apply to England only.
They are made in accordance with the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and set out the procedures for heritage partnership agreements.
Legislative background
The Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 allows local planning authorities to enter into a heritage partnership agreement with anyone who owns a listed building located in England.
Such agreements can:
- grant listed building consent for specific works for the alteration or extension of the listed building; and
