Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations SI 2013/1471
Also known as RIDDOR
These Regulations came into force on 1 October 2013 and apply to England, Scotland and Wales.
They revoke and replace, with amendments, the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations SI 1995/3163 and the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (Amendment) Regulations SI 2012/199.
These Regulations simplify and clarify the requirements for notifying, and subsequently sending a report to, the relevant enforcing authority in relation to fatal and certain non-fatal work-related accidents, specified diseases contracted by people at work and certain specified dangerous occurrences.
