About Cedrec
We've been helping individuals and organisations since 1994. We are an experienced specialist team and we're here to make your job easier. Whether you use one of our subscription products or our one-to-one consultancy, one thing is consistent - we make legislation simple.
Headed up by Neil Howe - a 10 year Cedrec veteran - our team of expert legal authors provide the foundations for everything we do. A combination of legal expertise and practical experience mean that they can offer a succinct digest of any relevant piece of legislation. With the same people working on both Environmental and Health & Safety material, we offer a consistent methodology and approach no matter what the subject.
We have always provided consultancy on an ad-hoc basis, but it became a core offering this year. Our legislation reviews are delivered by our seasoned auditing team, who provide a wealth of experience covering all industry sectors.
Keeping things simple is at the heart of what we do. Under the guidance of Gareth Billinghurst our technical team are constantly working to make Cedrec ever better and easier to use. We handle all major technical projects in-house because we've found that's the best way for us to deliver what you need.
We're very proud of the way we look after customers and delighted that we are still working with some subscribers we first met 18 years ago. If you have a question or query your call doesn't go to a faceless call centre - you'll be speaking with Julia Bradley or Steven Armstrong.
History
Cedrec Environmental was our first product. Originally offered on floppy disk, it covered only England and Wales. A CD version followed in 1998, giving full text legislation alongside our summaries for the first time.
A management buyout by Gareth and Steven in 2001 saw Cedrec move forwards. Legislation for Scotland was added to the system and a brand new product was launched for Northern Ireland.
We added a new dimension to our portfolio in 2005, with the launch of Cedrec Health & Safety, covering England, Scotland and Wales followed by Cedrec Health & Safety for Northern Ireland in 2006.
We're now online giving you instant access to our wealth of information.
