Don't gamble on your ISO 14001:2015 future

Fresh from the success of our Legislation Update Roadshow earlier in the year, Cedrec are delighted to announce we will be hosting a roundtable discussion on the 2015 revision to ISO 14001 in September.

This is an ideal opportunity for environmental professionals to share knowledge, skills and experiences on the journey towards the new ISO 14001:2015 standard, which is expected to be released within the next few months. The event will feature three keynote speakers from across the industry, followed by a question and answer session allowing you to be fully involved in the discussion on how your EMS will need to adapt to be ready for certification.

Key speakers

Our three speakers include:

Marek Bidwell - Director, Bidwell Management Systems

Director of Bidwell Management Systems, a Chartered Environmentalist Assessor and visiting lecturer in environmental management at Newcastle University, Marek has led the design, development and implementation of environmental management systems at a wealth of businesses across the UK. He is the author of a series of articles in The Environmentalist on the challenges of adaptation of management systems to the new standard, author of "Making the transition to ISO 14001:2015" and facilitator for the practitioner-led ISO 14001:2015 Road Test Group.

Mark Gouldstone  - BSI

We are delighted to have BSI - who were there at the birth of the standards movement and have helped shape it ever since - to provide some invaluable insight on external certification and auditing of the new requirements.

Richard Clarke - Senior EHS Consultant, Cedrec Information Systems

Richard leads the consultancy team at Cedrec, supporting EMS managers with their legal compliance requirements across a wide range of business types. He has written on the legal implications of ISO 14001:2015 for a number of publications, including The Environmentalist and SHP, and has discussed the development of the standard and its regulatory framework at a number of training events.
